オカダミカ|Solo Exhibition「ちてん」
本展は NEW オープンのギャラリー&カフェ『SOQSO(ソーキューソー)』をメイ ン拠点とし、ART HOSTEL からアート複合施設にリニューアルした『kumagusuku』、ナチュラルワインと料理のお店『NISHITOMIYA』、ワインとコー ヒーの『水上製作所』の、地点も空間も異なる4箇所での同時開催となります。本展のタイトルである「ちてん」は、近年作者が日常生活や制作の中で関心を寄せる、物事の境界線や視点・立場の違い、それらの間を移動しながら物事を見つめる姿勢に由来します。対象を一面のみで捉えるのではなく、両面、更には多面で捉えることをタイトルの「ちてん」に込めながら、多様な手法で描いた絵画作品を展示致します。4箇所の異なる空間をご覧いただき、それぞれの「ちてん」から作品を体験頂ければ幸いです。
This exhibition takes place simultaneously across four different locations and spaces: SOQSO, a newly opened gallery and café that serves as the exhibition’s main venue; kumagusuku, newly transformed from an art hostel into a multidisciplinary art space; NISHITOMIYA, a restaurant specializing in natural wine and food; and Mizukami Seisakusho, a wine and coffee shop. The exhibition title, “Chiten,” meaning “point” or “location,” comes from my recent interest, both in everyday life and in my artistic practice, in the boundaries between things, differences in perspective and position, and the act of looking at things while moving between them. Rather than seeing something from only one side, I try to consider it from both sides, and further, from multiple sides. This way of looking is embedded in the title “Chiten,” and the exhibition presents paintings created through a variety of approaches. I hope visitors will experience the four distinct spaces and encounter the works from each of their different “chiten”—their own points of view.
